As part of their on-going Software Lifecycle programme Sage are continually looking to improve their software in line with customer feedback and developments in technology. To enable them to focus their efforts on the more recent advanced versions of the software, their policy is to withdraw support from older versions.

If you have previously purchased Sage 50 Accounts 2008 or Sage Instant Accounts version 14, support for these lines has been withdrawn as of 1 May 2011.

So what does this mean for you?

This doesn't mean the software will stop working. However, support, updates and upgrades will be withdrawn in a phased approach. Consequently, in the future if you choose to purchase a new version of the software, the data may need to be transferred manually.
